05 Mrz Friendly Week – Day 4: Mark Dorricott – Halcyon Daze – Auditory Rhythms
This time I present you three artists I already had the honour to collaborate:

Mark Dorricott is a UK-based keyboard player, composer, and producer who writes everything from Jazz and Latin based numbers to more contemporary Ambient and New Age piano music. His work can be described as esoteric and cinematic, ranging from strongly thematic to dreamy and atmospheric. He has released several CDs, and compilations featuring fender rhodes electric piano and acoustic piano works of various styles from contemporary late night Jazz right through to mellow Ambient tracks.
Whenever you like to listen to soulful music, tracks full of warmth and coolness – sometimes in combination with great singers (for instance Ms. King) – head over to Mr. Dorricott and I promise you wont be disappointed! I´m very proud that such a skilled musician collaborated with me – already for two albums: EVENTS … and MIDNIGHT. Both albums represents the essence of his virtuosity in playing keys while I did my best to create the electronic cosmos for it 🙂

I met Andy for the first time in April 2013 in London where we both visit the afterparty of SCHILLER´s first concert in the UK. Right from the beginning I felt to have found a related soul when talking about electronic music. Listening to his music I discovered a rich and soulful universe of sounds and rhythms.
Like no one else he understands to write electronic songs for the heart – you instantly feel fine while listening to his tracks. The depth in his ambient tracks is something special to me, therefore it was clear, that I´m going to use his songs in my podcast series < 60 minutes of chill >.
You will understand my enthusiasm if you listen to tracks like „The Dust Rings of Epimetheus“ on one of his several sites like Facebook, Soundcloud or ReverbNation.

Another impressive artist in the fields of electronic music. Elaine Frost – the lady behind Auditory Rhythms. Normally I don´t like EDM, but she´s creating tracks full of energy and warmth which let you fall in love with them instantly.
So the first contact with her (on Soundcloud) lead into a remix of one of her tracks: „Imaginary Flow„. I wonder how she made that great combination between dance/dub/ … and ambient music. Something I never got to go, but for her it´s no problem to do so. So, after that remix it was clear for me to collaborate with her on a complete new track, and while doing so, I discovered, that she even has a wonderful voice! With great pride I was allowed to use her vocals in one my track „Orbital Flight, Part One„, which became a big success on our soundcloud sites.
In the recent days I realized, that she also make fantastic videos to her tracks – what a creativity this lady has inside! Join her world of sounds and rhythms on Soundcloud, Facebook or ReverbNation.
