09 Mai 60 Minutes Of Chill – Part Twenty [Ambient Worlds]
This weeks edition is dedicated to great but less known musicians .. all presented on their websites, on Soundcloud or Facebook. So you can visit them and discover even more great music – and support them by bying their albums!
We start with a fine ambient track called „Interstellar“ by british keyboarder Mark Dorricott. Whenever you need a fine combination of jazz, chillout and ambient sounds – Mark is the right guy for that. Next to him you can listen to a wonderful track by Wolfgang Gsell and Globotom, called „Take this longing from me“. They created a very sensitive collaboration, which shows that modern EM isn´t dead – it´s alive and kicking!
Next one in line is the german musician Earth Friend and his chilled track „Spring Awakening“. Klangstein shows his ambient side with „Give it up (Ambient Mix)“ – a track from his latest (and fantastic) new album Orbit.
By listening to artists on Soundcloud, I discovered Lowercases Noises, a musician from Albuquerque. His way to play the guitar on his track „22“ makes it a highlight in this mix. Fingers In The Noise – a french musician – present a smooth combination of beats and ambient/chilled/dub sounds.
Mark Dorricott returns with your buddy Stan Dart and we love to present you the track „Nightflight (2am Mix)“ from our album Midnight. My musical girlfriend Ann Grace shows us how to create a calm track in Spain: „Sentimenti“ – a fine combination of lounge, chillout and ambient sounds.
Back in 1978 Joel Fajerman wrote timeless electronic music, and that´s why I present you his track „Strings“. Finally, the russian composer Olek Sirenko closes this hour with his dreamy and mighty sounds in „Aqua“.
